For the first time, Janaina Rueda, chef of the A Casa do Porco restaurant in Sao Paulo, Brazil, will be cooking in Puerto Rico. Her restaurant is on the list of the best in the world at #7 according to The World's 50 Best Restaurants and #4 in Latin America's 50 Best Restaurants and has become a benchmark for the work they have been doing with the pork, making a tasting menu only with this animal protein, incorporating haute cuisine techniques and taking advantage of all the product. The menu stands out for presenting its dishes in a creative, genuine and tasty way and for exalting Brazilian culture. Janaina is also the creator of the Bar Da Dona Onca restaurant, opened in 2008 and whose opening marked a milestone in the recovery of downtown Sao Paulo.
Janaina will prepare a 5-course tasting menu for this dinner that will include some of her most emblematic dishes from A Casa do Porco and will also be inspired by the Puerto Rican pantry to accompany them.
